Dr. Truong Anh Dung:
“Enterprise should be considered as a second school”
[VOV2] – Dr. Truong Anh Dung said that the vocational education system must increase both the scale and the quality of training. Promote school autonomy. Besides formal training, it is necessary to promote training by studying and working, considering enterprises as the second school.Besides, according to the "Global Competitiveness Report in the 4.0 period" in 2019 of the World Economic Forum, it can be said that low skills are a "barrier" for young Vietnamese workers. in the job market of the industrial revolution 4.0.
In that context, Dr. Truong Anh Dung, Director General of the General Department of Vocational Education (Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs) affirmed that the vocational education system must contribute to leading and orienting human resource development.
“On the one hand, training prepares the workforce for local, regional and sectoral development. But on the other hand, we have to capture the information of the labor market to organize training for it to match the needs”, Mr. Dung said.
