          Viet Xo Construction Mechanical and Electrical College, formerly known as the High School and Vocational School of Construction Agriculture and Rural Development, was established under Decision No. 02/NN-TCCB-QD dated January 3, 1997 of the Government. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the basis of consolidating and reorganizing the Vietnam-Soviet Agricultural Mechanics School, the Central Agricultural Mechanics High School and the Agricultural Construction Workers School.  *CENTRAL AGRICULTURAL MECHANICAL HIGH SCHOOL

    Established under Decision No. 123/NN/QD dated December 9, 1960 in Van Dien town, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi city. The school is responsible for training technical and professional staff at the professional intermediate level for the Agricultural Mechanics industry, serving agricultural mechanization during the period of cooperation in the rural areas of the Socialist North. In 1965, due to the increasingly fierce war of sabotage by the American imperialists, the school was evacuated to Ngoc Xa commune, Que Vo district, Ha Bac province (now Bac Ninh province). In 1986, due to new requirements and tasks, the school was moved to Tam Diep town, Ha Nam Ninh province (now Tam Diep city, Ninh Binh province).

In September 1973, to meet the development requirements of the industry, the school was moved to Dong Giao Town, Yen Mo District, Ninh Binh Province (now Tam Diep City, Ninh Binh Province).

In 1986, due to changing the main task of vocational training, the school changed its name to Agricultural Construction Workers School. * VIET-SOVIET AGRICULTURAL MECHANICAL WORKERS SCHOOL

      Established under Decision No. 79/NN-TCCB/QD dated May 10, 1979 of the Ministry of Agriculture. This was one of the most modern training facilities in Vietnam at that time, designed, invested in, built by the Soviet Union and equipped with synchronous teaching and training equipment for 5 occupations serving agricultural mechanization and agriculture. village. The initial name of the school according to the design was "Dong Giao tractor and bulldozer school". In the early 1980-1985 period, the Soviet government sent a delegation of 28 experts to help train teachers, managers, administrators, organize and use training equipment for the first 3 courses at the Soviet Union. school.         On March 23, 2012, Tam Diep Construction Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College was renamed Viet Xo Construction Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College according to Decision No. 358/QD-LDTBXH dated March 23, 2012 of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social.

On June 20, 2017, Viet Xo Construction Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College was signed by the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to approve Decision No. 919/QD-LDTBXH dated June 20, 2017 on changing its name to Viet Soviet College of Mechanical and Electrical Construction.
