INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICITY – A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
Industrial electricity plays the role of stabilizing and developing the power transmission system to serve industrial production, agriculture, trade and service, and people's daily life. Technicians, Bachelors, and Industrial Electrical Engineers design and construct the power transmission system, ensuring stable power transmission throughout the system; Design, install, test, maintain and repair electrical systems and industrial electrical equipment and other electricity-using systems.
According to a report of the General Department Vocational training said, industrial electricity (electrical industry) is the profession with the largest number of training schools (52 schools) with 6,685 targets. At the same time, human resources for this industry are currently in the top 10 occupations with the largest labor shortage in Vietnam.
The reason for this scarcity is because industrial development is a key direction in the economic development of every country. In particular, Vietnam's industrial development strategy is to achieve the growth rate of industrial value added in the period to 2020 reaching 6.5-7.0%/year and in the period 2021-2030 reaching 7.5- 8.0%/year. The growth rate of industrial production value in the period to 2020 will reach 12.5-13.0%/year and the period 2021-2030 will reach 11.0-12%/year. To achieve the above targets, there must be an increase in the size of factories and industrial parks across the country. This increase means the need to develop industrial power systems and networks.
