*CENTRAL AGRICULTURAL MECHANICAL HIGH SCHOOL
Established under Decision No. 123/NN/QD dated December 9, 1960 in Van Dien town, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi city. The school is responsible for training technical and professional staff at the professional intermediate level for the Agricultural Mechanics industry, serving agricultural mechanization during the period of cooperation in the rural areas of the Socialist North. In 1965, due to the increasingly fierce war of sabotage by the American imperialists, the school was evacuated to Ngoc Xa commune, Que Vo district, Ha Bac province (now Bac Ninh province). In 1986, due to new requirements and tasks, the school was moved to Tam Diep town, Ha Nam Ninh province (now Tam Diep city, Ninh Binh province).

On March 23, 2012, Tam Diep Construction Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College was renamed Viet Xo Construction Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College according to Decision No. 358/QD-LDTBXH dated March 23, 2012 of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social.
On June 20, 2017, Viet Xo Construction Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College was signed by the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to approve Decision No. 919/QD-LDTBXH dated June 20, 2017 on changing its name to Viet Soviet College of Mechanical and Electrical Construction.
